In Unit 1 of Grade 2 Social Studies, your child will begin a unit on families. This unit teaches them all about the diversity of families, and about their own family. Fun activities in this unit include: Coming up with a family motto, drawing pictures of their home, the family, or maybe even their pets, creating a family timeline for each day, mapping where your families generational roots are, creating a family tree and so much more.
